This is a challenge that’s been going around the YouTube art community.  Well, it did.  I’m a little late to the party.  I asked my four year old niece Aislynn to pick out some colours for me to use, from the set of colouring pencils I keep in my backpack for us to use together.  She picked a yellow pencil, an orange pencil and a grey pencil.

I considered using just those three pencils, but I’m really into using my alcohol markers at the moment, so I wanted to go with them instead.  And since the challenge was a palette picked by someone else, not a three marker challenge, I allowed myself to use all my yellows, all my oranges and all my greys.

I’m pretty chuffed with the result.  What do you think?
