Recently I’ve been browsing through my folders of old artwork, and one of the things I found has triggered an idea.

Years back, when I first discovered Zentangle, my friend Katherine (who I mentioned in that blog) created an awesome app called Doodling Together. Artists could join up, and you’d get a section of a bigger framework to fill in, to create a giant collaborative art piece.

I participated in quite a few of these. Here are some of my sections…

Doodling Together doesn’t exist any more unfortunately – definitely go check out Kat’s other games for all kinds of platforms. But looking at those little squares in my art folder made me want to do another collaboration.

Definitely not on the scale of the big pieces, but some smaller ones maybe. So I drew a framework.

Now all I need is other artists.

I’m only looking for three other artists at the moment, mostly because I don’t have a very wide audience and I’m not even sure I can find three. But if it’s successful, maybe we can do a bigger one later.
