It may have escaped your attention, but I haven’t blogged much this year. And I’ve never been a very consistent blogger anyway. I have, however, been continuing to buy all sorts of supplies with the I’ll-turn-it-into-a-blog excuse. And I’ve been continuing to document art and craft projects by taking lots of photos and putting them in folders in my “Blogs to Write” folder.
That folder currently has more than 100 blogs in it. And my “Blogs in Progress” folder is even worse.
When you know you have to do something, but you have anxiety and stuff, you get intimidated by rising numbers like that. I could just give up blogging altogether. That would remove the pressure. But I actually enjoy it, once I get started. It’s the getting started bit I always struggle with. I was tempted to just delete it all and start fresh. But there is a LOT of work in there.
So after a little bit of thought, I decided to cull it instead. Sort of. I picked out the posts I most wanted to actually write, and put them in a separate folder. And I put everything else into an archive folder that I may or may not get to at some point in the future.
So, hopefully, I’m gonna blog a bit more from here. But let’s face it, I’ve said that before.
There’s been a lot of changes in my life, and in me personally, recently though. Hopefully my plan to add a blog post to my slowly growing routine will succeed. Wish me luck.
